Fudge Pie

Homemade Fudge Pies are delicious served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of the warm pie. When baking a Fudge Pie, go for it, and double the recipe and you will wind up with two homemade Fudge Pies. There are two pie shells in a package of them, so no need in sticking the other one back in the freezer. If you are craving chocolate, then this Fudge Pie will take care of that and the pie will also cure your sweet tooth. Fudge Pies are a breeze to bake at home and they are twice as good when you bake them yourself.

The utensils that you will need to prepare the Fudge Pie are as follows:

One Large Mixing Bowl

Spoon

Cookie Tray

Oven Mitts

Measuring Cups

Teaspoon

The ingredients for the Fudge Pie are as follows:

One package Pie Shells - I use the nine inch ones

Cocoa Powder

Eggs

Sugar

Vanilla Extract

Salt

Butter or Margarine

All-Purpose Flour

Vanilla Ice Cream

Hot Fudge Sauce

In the large mixing bowl, combine about a cup of sugar, plus two teaspoons sugar, with a good two tablespoons of the all-purpose flour, about four tablespoons cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir. Add two eggs, slightly beaten, one teaspoon vanilla extract and a half of a cup of melted butter or margarine, that has been cooled. Stir.

Spoon the chocolate mixture into one pie shell. Place the Fudge Pie on a cookie tray while baking. Bake the Fudge Pie at 350 degrees for about twenty to thirty minutes, or until the middle of the pie is done. Remove the pie from the oven and let the pie cool for about three hours before trying to slice it.

Serve the delicious homemade Fudge Pie with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of it. If desired, spoon a good two tablespoons of the hot fudge sauce on top of the vanilla ice cream.
