Baked Beans

Baked Beans can be a delicious side dish when served with something like BBQ, Hamburgers, Sausages, or Hot Dogs.

Utensils Needed:

1 Large Casserole Dish
Kitchen Knife
Cutting Board
Can Opener
1 Large Frying Pan
Paper Towels
1 Large Mixing Bowl
Large Kitchen Spoon
Aluminum Foil

Ingredients Needed:

2 Large Cans Baked Beans (your favorite kind)
(I use whatever kind of honey baked beans in the can)
3 Hot Dogs or Sausages (diced finely)
1/2 Cup Finely Diced Onions - any kind
1/2 Cup Finely Diced Green Bell Pepper
Salt and Black Pepper
1/4 Cup Ketchup or 1/4 Cup Tomato Sauce
1/4 Molasses or 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
Few Dashes of Hot Sauce (optional)
6 Strips Bacon - Fried - Diced Finely

Directions:

Fry Bacon, drain on paper towels.  Dice Bacon and set aside.
Combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl except for
the diced bacon.  Place the bean mixture into the casserole dish.
Sprinkle with the diced bacon.  Bake covered with aluminum foil
on 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.  Remove the foil and bake
until the beans are bubbly and done.
