Cornbread - NuWave Oven Style

Preparing any kind of food in the NuWave Oven is done with complete ease.  At the touch of a few buttons, the NuWave Oven is cooking on a timer, and when the minutes click down, the NuWave Oven beeps to let you know that it is finished cooking, baking, grilling, steaming, or dehydrating the food that is inside of the NuWave Oven.

Utensils:

NuWave Oven

One Medium Size Mixing Bowl

One Kitchen Spoon

Assorted Measuring Cups

One Round Pan, Square Pan, or Muffin Tin

Paper Towel or Pastry Brush

Small Kitchen Pan or Microwave to melt Butter

Oven Mitts

Ingredients:

2 Boxes of your favorite Cornbread Mix or 1 recipe
cornbread, (however that you like to mix it up)

1/4 Cup to 1/2 Cup Sugar

4 Tablespoons Butter - Melted

2 Eggs

Milk - Amount called for on box mix or homemade mix

Butter or Oil to grease the baking pan with or muffin tin

Directions:

Butter or Oil the baking pan or muffin tin and set aside.  Mix up the cornbread according to the package directions and add extra ingredients like the butter and sugar, if desired.  Pour the cornbread mixture into the prepared pan or muffin tin.

Plug in the NuWave Oven, press cook time, 17 to 20 minutes, and when the NuWave Oven beeps, it is letting you know that your delicious cornbread is done.  Bake time for the cornbread muffins is just 10 minutes.  *Note:  Since there is no preheating of the NuWave Oven, if you feel that your cornbread is not brown or done enough for you, then simply, press cook time, and however many more minutes that you would like to leave the cornbread in the oven for.  Then when the NuWave Oven beeps, check your food again.

Remove the cornbread from the NuWave Oven and place it on one of the trays that the oven came with, to cool.

Slice the cornbread either into six or eight slices and enjoy.  Serve the cornbread with chili beans, beef stew, vegetable soup, or any kind of home cooked beans.
