Ham - NuWave Oven Style

If it fits, then the NuWave Oven will cook it.  Ham is a delicious meal to serve with potatoes, and some kind of a veggie, and please do not forget to serve the rolls.

Ingredients:

1 Ham - about 9 - 10 pounds
1 Cup Water

*Whatever other spices that you like on your ham.  I use the Ham Seasoning
Packet that comes with the ham.

Utensils That Are Needed:

1 Cup Measuring Cup
Aluminum Foil
Kitchen Brush
Platter to put the ham on
Two Forks for lifting the ham

Directions:

Put one cup water in the bottom oven pan of the NuWave Pro Infrared Oven.  Place the two inch wire rack (that comes with the oven) upside down, right onto the bottom oven pan.  Place a fairly long piece of aluminum foil on top of the wire rack, enough to wrap the entire ham with.  Place the ham on the
aluminum foil and wrap the ham up completely with the foil.

Plug in the NuWave Oven.  Press power level 8, then press cook time 90, then press the start button.  When the 90 minutes is up the oven will beep, letting you know that your food is ready.  The NuWave Pro Infrared Oven will only set up to a maximum of 90 minutes.  So if you need something cooked longer, when the oven beeps, then re-program it for how many ever more minutes.

Take the lid off of the oven and carefully unwrap the ham.  Now it is time to put the glaze, (if desired) on the ham.  Brush the ham with the glaze.  Put the lid back on the oven, press power level 8, press cook time 20 - 30 minutes, watching the glaze on the ham as it cooks, so it does not burn.  If you set the NuWave Oven
for 20 minutes and you only need to cook something for 15, then all that you have to do is press the pause button and take the lid off of the oven.

Let the ham rest on a serving platter for around 25 minutes before slicing.
