Cuisinart Electric Ice Cream Maker

I received an electric Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker last year for my birthday present and the effort involved with making homemade ice cream is worth all of the time that it takes to prepare the delicious homemade treat.

The Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker is a breeze to operate.  Just stir together your ingredients for the ice cream, plug in your machine, simply pour the mix into the freezer container, (after the mix has completely cooled off), and presto!, in minutes, you have delicious homemade soft serve ice cream.

The ice cream maker came with one base, which has an off and on switch, one freezer container, one paddle and plastic dome.  All of the attachments and accessories are easy to clean up, being dishwasher safe except for the freezer container, which should be hand washed after using.

Since I have had my electric Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker, I have made Orange Sherbet, Vanilla Ice Cream, Banana Ice Cream, Chocolate Ice Cream, and last but not least, Moose Tracks.

If you want your ice cream more frozen than at the soft serve ice cream stage, then spoon out your ice cream mixture into freezer containers with lids and freeze for four to six hours.  The best thing about the ice cream maker is that you can make any kind of ice cream that you want to and also add any additional ingredients to the ice cream that you desire, like mini chocolate chips or chopped nuts.

Enjoy your Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker!
