Fruit Salad

Fruit Salad is another delicious side dish when it comes to Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Easter, or anytime. Here is a simple yet, good version of Fruit Salad.  You can put any kind of fruit or nuts in your salad.  This is how that I make mine.

Utensils:

Kitchen Strainer

Can Opener

Kitchen Scissors

One Large Mixing Bowl

Kitchen Spoon

Kitchen Knife

Ingredients:

2 Cans Mandarin Oranges, Drained

2 Cans Pineapple Tidbits, Drained (save the juice for other recipes, like jell-o)
*Note:  Cut the pineapple tidbits in half

2 or 3 Ripe Bananas, Cut into 1/4" Rounds
*Note:  Mix the bananas in at the last minute before serving (they tend to turn brown)

1 Small Bag Mini Marshmallows

1/2 Cup Sweetened Shredded Coconut

1/2 Cup Sour Cream

1/2 Cup Crushed Pecans

Maraschino Cherries - Drained - Save a few to decorate the Fruit Salad with

Directions:

Mix all ingredients.  Cover and refrigerate for several hours.  The Fruit Salad gets better when it sits for a couple of hours before serving.
